Cynthia McCarthy first heard the Fearless Five at the Tavern in Belmont. She was so impressed with the band that she invited the Fearless Five to perform at her Rinconada library on December 10, 2022. The band was since named "Musicians in Residence" at her library and had been be performing for its patrons on the 3rd Saturday of every month in the Embarcadero Room. The residency concluded with band's final performance on May 17, 2025, before Nathan and two other core members, Will and Nicholas, headed off to college. Thank you, Cynthia, for your vision and support! The band’s time at Rinconada not only brought live jazz into the heart of the community but also created a lasting example of how young musicians can inspire and connect across generations.
